Tittle of the project: I vote because…
Overall Objective – Increase youth participation and engagement in the political process and parliamentary elections 2020.
Specific objectives 1– Awareness-raising for the first time in schools and universities on the importance of voting, governance and the political system.
Specific objectives 2– Promoting the debate on the inclusion of young people in the electoral platforms of the main political parties through democratic education.
Activities:
- Six information sessions with voters for the first time “Let’s talk about voting”
- Institutional visit of the youth involved in the project in the Central Election Commission
- Awareness campaign “I vote because” to increase youth participation in elections
- Creative Action on the Day of Electoral Silence with a focus on calling on young people calling their peers to vote.
- Organizing two public debates with the presence of young people and candidates of the main political forces to face the electoral offers
