Tittle of the project: “One city for students!”
Project Goal
Strengthening the capacities of students, residents of university residences, with the aim of increasing their demand for accountability and transparency towards decision-making authorities.
Specific Objectives
1 – The establishment of a network of representative students from the 4 university residences in Tirana, who will be trained and supported to become activists in their community.
2 – Publication of reports and monitoring related to the conditions and situation in the dormitories of the capital.
3 – The organization of actions and reactions for the increase of accommodation capacities in Tirana, including the National Student Congress.
Activities:
1 – Opening the call and selecting the student network
2 – Two trainings with the group of students focusing on activism and democracy
3 – Study visit to the University Campus of Prishtina
4 – Monitoring of construction projects of university campuses and the involvement of students in this process
5 – Students club meetings
